Founded in 1927 by Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, La Marzocco had its beginnings in Florence, Italy, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, and home to such geniuses as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Brunelleschi who created some of the most celebrated works of art in the world. It seems only fitting that La Marzocco would earn a world-renowned reputation for making beautiful, high quality, superbly crafted and uniquely designed espresso machines, with great attention to detail. In 1939, it was La Marzocco that developed and patented the first coffee machine with a horizontal boiler, now an industry standard. This was the first of a series of important innovations, later to include the dual-boiler system with saturated brewing groups. Tradition and a passion in the search for quality and superior reliability are factors that have always distinguished and interested the entire company. Even today, highly specialised personnel supervise each stage in the production of every single machine, hand-crafted to order for each and every client. In this way, Giuseppe Bambi’s great experience and professional pride live on after over eighty-five years.
Today, La Marzocco remains an artisan company, while offering important advancements in equipment technology to its customers and in the industry.
The ultimate in coffee machines brought to you by the ultimate La Marzocco enthusiasts. When it comes to La Marzocco, think Brewtech.
The company was founded in the years between the two World Wars by Luigi Mazzer (born 1912). He first founded “La Veneta”, then, back in the 40s, the production of professional coffee-grinders and grinder-dosers started: this is how this precision-mechanic workshop became a highly specialised one. The company was then given the name “Mazzer” and quickly gained a major position in the worldwide coffee-grinders and grinder-dosers production.
Since then many things have changed, but Mazzer's passion for mechanical engineering and for things done to the letter stays the same, and so does their constantly search for perfection. The company is headed to the future but still in deep touch with their past, a past made of values and leadership in this sector.
Mazzer is a leading company for the manufacture of coffee grinders, grinder-dosers and accessories. Its products are distributed in 90 countries worldwide and are well known for quality, reliability and design. The company is present throughout the entire technological process and the reliability of its components is internationally appreciated.
Victoria Arduino was founded in 1905 by Pier Teresio Arduino, with the aim of building an espresso machine that did not compromise on quality, materials or performance. The result redefined the perimeters of modern espresso coffee machines. It is Victoria who brings us the Mythos range of incredible coffee grinders.
Mythos One, the beginnings
To keep all its aromas and to avoid oxidation that leads to rancidity, espresso coffee should be ground instantly. On-demand coffee grinders are very popular for this, as they offer fresh coffee with better quality. Coffee dosing with an “on-demand” system, however, is not always constant. It tends to vary depending on how much the grinder is used. That is why the Mythos One on-demand grinder was conceived. Its strength lies in two technologies that can improve the quality of the coffee and the extraction, while at the same time offers extreme precision, intelligent waste management, acoustic comfort, and easy maintenance.
Mythos 2, the beginnings
With Mythos One Victoria redesigned the way of thinking about grinding coffee. With Mythos 2, they reinvented the rules removing the boundaries of on-demand coffee grinder operating control in terms of temperature stability, accuracy, and speed service increasing.
This is the on-demand grinder with a dynamometric tamper and with the quality and ease of use demanded by coffee shop chains, hotels, and restaurants. Its grinder instantly provides a fresh, ground coffee of the highest quality, while the dynamometric tamper ensures a constant pressure.
Its technical features make it an extremely reliable and accurate grinder, easy to use and able to get a consistent and repeatable result.
